Fethiye is only a 25 minutes drive and is a bustling port city with lots to offer including two supermarkets for your basic shopping. In the old city there are shops offering quality leather goods, carpets and designer clothes. There are many good restaurants of all types and an excellent fresh food market near the harbour. Olu deniz, hisaronu and kaya koy are all a short distance from fethiye. Olu deniz is world renowned for its blue lagoon and sandy beaches and is also the main centre for paragliding. Patara beach with a 20km unspoilt sandy beach is about a 1 hour drive. Activities by the sea include paragliding, microlites, wind-surfing, kitesurfing, sailing, swimming, water-skiing and scuba diving. Inland there is walking, mountain biking, quad biking, horse riding and visits to the numerous archaeological sites from the roman and lycian times. Walking the lycian way will particularly interest some people. We organise watersports tuition courses in kitesurfing, sailing and scuba diving. Courses are available locally from 2-5 days and are run by experienced instructors. Participants are collected and returned to the villa at the end of each day and qualifications are provided on completion of a course. We also offer yoga lessons and these can be arranged through our local managing agent. Active games & fitness area is available for 2007 - an area of 600 sq ft includes table tennis, darts, punch bags, weights and a fitness machine together with a shower room and bar area - ideal for the more energetic members of your party.
